FAQ

Quick answers to the questions customers ask us most. If you don’t see yours, contact us and we’ll help.

What are the benefits of window tinting?

Heat rejection for a cooler cabin. UV protection that helps prevent interior fade. Less glare and more privacy. A neat, uniform look that upgrades the car’s finish.

What’s the difference between dyed, carbon, and ceramic tint?

Dyed is budget-friendly and mostly for looks. Carbon adds better heat rejection and resists fading. Ceramic blocks the most infrared heat and UV while keeping signal clarity for GPS and phones.

Is paint correction necessary before ceramic coating?

Light correction is strongly recommended. Coatings lock in the surface. If you skip correction, existing swirls or haze get sealed underneath. We usually do a 1-step polish unless the paint needs more.

What does ceramic coating actually do?

It adds a durable, hydrophobic layer that makes washing easier and boosts gloss. It is not a force field. It will not stop rock chips or deep scratches. It does reduce staining and helps with UV resistance.

Can I wash my car after ceramic coating?

Avoid soaps and automatic brushes for the first week while it cures. A gentle rinse is fine after 48 hours if needed. After cure, use pH-neutral soap, soft mitts, and proper drying towels.
